We understand that having to make the very tough decision to rehome your dog can be a terrible and very hard decision to make. Life can be very unexpected and sometimes take the turn for the worse for all of us. Things come up that are completely out of our control and the last thing we want to do is have to rehome our pets.

If we currently don’t have an empty spot in our rescue for a dog at the moment, we are more than happy to post your beloved dog on here to raise the chances of finding them a home without having to resort to surrendering he/she to the animal shelter.

If you’d like our rescue to post your dog under our courtesy posting, please e-mail us at mahinasohanarescue@gmail.com some desirable photos/videos, a full descriptive biography about your dog. We suggest getting 4-5 really good photos of each dogs, at least one close up and clear, and the others in their element. Photos are everything and what will make someone say “that’s the one”. If they are dog friendly, post the photo of the dog with another dog.

Be clear on what the dog(s) temperament is and what the best home would be. Please include the following in the dog’s biography:

• Name, age, weight, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed/neutered

• Are they potty trained/crate trained?

• Good with kids? Good with cats? Good with other dogs?

• What do they enjoy doing?

• Do they have separation anxiety?

• Do they have stranger danger?

• Are they destructive in the home?

We would need to know the reason for rehoming along with your contact information so if there’s any potential adopters, they can reach out to you!
